Doehne Oaks

Doehne Oaks is a master planned development of twenty-one exclusive five to seven acre estate sites located west of New Braunfels and north of San Antonio. A historic piece of property, Doehne Oaks was originally part of the Spanish Land Grants of the 1700′s. These land grants were incentives for immigrants to colonize once vastly unpopulated areas of Texas. The property is full of German heritage and takes its name from one of the original settlers of the area. Original rock walls are found throughout the property as well as a portion of the original New Braunfels/Fredericksburg stage coach line.

A diversity of quality design will be welcomed so as not to create a monolithic community mandating the architectural design de jour. The ARC (Architectural Review Committee) will encourage design which is as environmentally friendly as possible; such as saving water through conservation, recapture and reuse, as well as use of native, drought resistant landscaping.
